I'm considering buying a 1980 Dodge A.C., not yet sure what length and I'm told there is a leak in one of the water tanks.  The seller doesn't know which tank is involved. I would like a drawing/design layout to see how the tanks relate to each other, before taking to a repair shop.

Anyone with a copy they wouldn't mind sharing?

Kind regards,

Greetings PKM,

Your purchase shouldn't be contigent upon a leaky water tank. In other words, a leaky tank shouldn't be a deal breaker.

There are three "water" tanks. There is the grey water (sink discharge), black water (toilet discharge), and fresh water storage. Clarification is needed about which tank is leaking.

When my tanks overflow they "leak"; however, if I knew it prior to purchasing it wouldn't have been a deal breaker. Find out more from the current owner the extent of the leak. I don't think tanks are that much to replace.

Hiyya PKM

Ray's right about that not being a deal breaker... nonna those leaks are any big deal to fix.  To more specifically answer your question....

The fresh water tank is under the front dinette seat... just lift the seat out and you'll see it.  Assuming it's a rear-kitchen model, the the black/grey holding tanks are side by side right below the "facilities".

As Ray suggested, provide some more info about the leak and we'll try to help ya out.
