Okay, Its probably only of interest to me. But in my ever growing family (baby number 5 is due in February ;D) vehicle space is at a premium. Living in Alaska, one needs to have all wheel drive or 4x4. I like vans...ALOT! I like the dodge caravans that have the dual sliding doors, and could never figure out why more vans (other than the mini-type) didnt have an additional passenger door  on the drivers side.....

Now on to what I learned yesterday:
In 2003 chevy/gm began offering their Express/Savana model with an additional door on the drivers side AS WELL AS an All wheel drive option from the factory!
What this means to you.....probably nothing
What this means to me.....There is a slim glimmer of hope that I could one day find a passenger model Express/savana with Awd and an additional door to comfortably move my growing family, (insert school bus joke here) And still be driven safely by my wife! (insert woman driver joke here)

And even beyond all that, here is the real kicker: the Express/savana is a popular conversion van platform!
I LOVE conversion vans, and people seem to give them away  used! well except for the ones I want :'(

Check out this page to see what im talking about:

The only down side to a conversion van for me is that they are almost all 7 pasenger, post conversion, so I would need to re-convert one for our family. (We will be at 7 in february, combine that with booster/carseats and even our chevy astro is crowded.)

Okay ....thanks for listening.
