Jerry T,
Sorry I couldn't figure out how to just plan post so amsaying hello here and expect someone will give me a tip on how it's done.

I have posted previously and appreciate the help.

I'm in Morro Bay, CA in a motor home I'm living in but do not plan to renovate.  I'm hoping to come across someone who enjoys "fixin'" and will want to work on it.

Since it didn't sell from posting on craigslist all summer, although there were many lookers, I'm cozy for the winter.  No leaks...so far so good and plenty of rain and wind to test it.

When I first got it I started it up regularly and it started fine; but I had to be gone for about 3 months and when I got back to it and put some gas in it, it started and ran...sounded good; but the battery had to be jumped.

Now it's just dead, I suppose.  For what reason did it not stay charged up with the coach plugged in?  Wouldn't it continue to be charged through the coach electric plugged in?  Can the starting battery be overcharged?

Hey Jerry, " Baaaaaaack is Sooooore"  But I did manage to get some walking in as per the Dr.

I was getting Buggy the other weekend and wanted to do something.

So my daughter said what would you want to do...??? I said grab my tool bag and go to the wrecking yard in Santa Fe Springs.....

She went out the door and three minuets later said "Comon Dad"
Off we went.  I never have ridden in her Bronco on a long ride it was nice.  She neded a spare tire for her ride and by chance we found one with the same rim!!
The we went off to the dodge section,,,,,I found a Newer dodge that was what had seemed to be a long  distance runner. Had a small fridge in it and a sink!  No one had beat it up yet and my daughter found a necklace in the glove..."Pay day for her"".. Now she is getting into wrecking yards!!  I removed a navagational light
from that one and as I looked up I found a tradesman.... Thought I would take a gander at that one.  Well, I did get  the Dash out of it it was still in one piece"  And they are getting hard to find.  One van I looked at had a NEW rebuilt 727 trans in it!!!!  If my buddy was with us I would have given him 50 bucks to pull it for me.
Date of rebuild was 9/9/09 written right on the side.  Plus the case was so clean uyou could eat off it. andyou could see the new gaskets.... Once in a life time find!!!!  Thyen on to the Vws and we found a right rear fender for the wifes Vw. .  I was just about breat at that point and My daughter looked as about as beat as I So we cashed out and pilled everything in the back of her Bronco. Got home took some medication and that was it for the night. I woke around 7:30 am and my day started then. Getting better though, Thanks for asking!! .   One good thing that I like about the wrecking yard that I go to , They have "Shopping carts"  That is a mans grocery store if ya ask me!!!!  Only thing they don't have is Beer!!
Take care Jerry!!! :)John
