1972/1977 compatibility?

     Does anyone know how compatible parts would be between a 72 dodge sportsman and the 77 sportsman pulling my clipper? I am mostly thinking about body panels and windows/doors, you know, the exterior stuff. I am considering buying a neighbors beat up old 72 Dodge RV to cannibalize for an engine for my pickup and spare parts for the clipper. I would then gut the nasty old stuff in the camper and convert it into a utility trailer.
     I appreciate any thoughts on this issue or if you know of another forum which might have an answer, please direct me to it.

I just got some parts off a 73 I dont know why 72 wouldent work.
