Larry and Alida, I tried to reply from the message board but no-go.  Here is what I have to say regarding your email to me:

You got my home email which is how I think it is supposed to work.

You mention that the original plastic had a lot of wear... hmmm my timing
chain and both sprokets were steel.  Instead of plastic could you mean
fiber?  I know that some timing chains had one or both of the sprokets (the
gears) made of a fiber or fiberglass/reinforced synthetic matereial in order
to cut down on the noise.

I bought my parts as a kit, large and small sproket/gears and chain.

My old gears were worn, the chain had some slop.  The new parts went on real
easy.  Hope you lined up marks before you removed the old gears!

I have the Dodge 360 2bbl.  Currently working on the brakes.  Recently
replaced the right front caliper and pads, tonight I put in a Master cylinder.  A little bit at a time.

Don't know what the 10 means when you mention the "440-10" engine.
