House Plumbing Work / fresh water tank replacement
Last post by patchmanz - February 18, 2022, 02:11:27 PM
Hi gang,
first timer here...we purchased a 77 clipper a year ago..Definately loving it !
I just had my first water leak from our fresh water tank. I've taken it out and want to replace it. Can anyone recommend the proper sensors to purchase that will match with the original water level meter in the cab? or does it matter?
also any updates on preferred vendor for the 30 gal fresh water tank?
thanks! Andy

If you still need a windshield there is one on e bay for 78.75 if you have the dodge.
If it helps warren truck pant 3 used a front dodge van body for the MB 300, CB300,  ( which for the van was a B 100 / 200 / or 300 some even had the same front axel components. I have a 1980 24 MB 400 bunk house that replaced my 1976 21' rear galley but it was built in a 1979 frame and nose with a 1980 grill. ) I bought the 78/79 dealers parts catalog
I hope it helps.

FoldnRoll Technical Information / New Converter Charger
Last post by Toedtoes - October 16, 2021, 11:26:21 AM
This past year, my converter blew.  Without it, the hydraulic roof won't move.

I though I'd share the replacement I got.  It was the exact size as the original and very easy to install.

FoldnRoll Tips and Tricks / Installing a Deck Hatch to the...
Last post by Toedtoes - October 16, 2021, 11:19:05 AM
Rather than having to remove the entire cover to check the propane levels or open/close the propane tanks, I installed two boat deck hatches on the top:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B017NA9H6W?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Now I just pop open a hatch.

P.S. I liked the style linked to because it has actual fingerloops to unscrew the hatch.  Other versions just have indentations for your fingers - which are more difficult if your fingers are stiff from the cold, arthritis, etc.  The fingerloop design is also easier if you're wearing gloves or working in the rain.
