just wondering if any one knows, my clipper has 440 at this time it has a holley carb which im not real fond of, im considering putting a good old edelbrock ,or carter afb style carb on. I dont know alot about the 440 dodge motor as ive always been a chevy fan and they work great. just did not know is a 650cfm would be enoug for the 440.

Hi don, I myself am a chevy fan as I have a 1971 Chevelle SS  Big Block 500 hp 4 spd

the cab is a 750 even though I did have a 1000 cfm double pumper..
I think the 650 would be ok for the 440.  She wasn't made to do the 1/4 mile under 17.
I myself was thinking about enlarging th carb on my rig, but the 440 uses enough gas as it is.
I think even Jerry would agree with me on this one.  on some rigs we should starve them just to that point
or get smaller jets.  I am just cheep"     :)John

If anyone is intrested, I happen to have an Edelbrock 350-1411  750cfm for sale. I bought two when ordering for my clipper then decided not to use the other one on my other truck. On jegs.com the place I purchased it from they go for 299.oo plus shipping. I'll let this one go for 200.00 and I'll ship.  Just let me know either by PM on here or mail me at elcboss@AOL.com. I'll ship just as soon as payment received.  Oh and by the way. The one one my Clipper  I LOVE.

Love my Edelbrock - increased mileage by 2mpg when I switched from Carter to Edelbrock (both the intake manifold and the carb)
I have a good/rebuilt Carter 2 barrel for sale if anyone wants it - still attached to the stock intake manifold (75 Dodge 360) - maybe for your old Dodge truck??

$150 for both!
