Well folks you AIN'T going to beleive this! We are about to be proud new owners of a 27' Flagstaff Bunk House Travel Trailer. And for what, so my wife can quit riding me about my Clipper.

Yeap....... we are picking it up on Tuesday and have the shakedown trip planned for Friday night. After our trip weekend before last she made another comment about how she would enjoy camping more if she had more space and I didn't have to do "stuff" to the Clipper prior to a trip.

We'll I've always resisted saying that I would consider getting a new RV after a couple of years. I thought to myself: why build false expectation because I AIN'T getting rid of my Clipper. Said self why don't you just spring for a travel trailer and keep your Clipper too. Well as foolish as it is we are going to have a Clipper and travel trailer. Yeap, twice the storage cost but Moma is happy and BigRay is too!

What a relief. I can enjoying camping in either one! I can do stuff to my Clipper and not have to delay a camping trip!

God is good!

Congratulations on the new addition to you camping arsenal Ray. Got to keep the Woman happy, I can sure relate to that. Don't feel to bad about having 2 RV's, I have to many old mopars that for the most part just sit out back and get dirty. Enjoy that new addition to your family and keep us posted on how it works out for you.

Hey, at least you were able to keep the Clipper  :)

I still miss ours... especially since we've miss ed a few camping opportunities while we are camperless.  Our trailer supposedly rolled off the line a couple days ago and is on it's way and we'll pick it up next weekend.  I still asking myself what the heck I was thinking....

Either way, have fun Big Ray  :)

Hey Shayne,

Good to hear from you. I understand completely. We picked up our travel trailer yesterday evening and when I pulled up and saw that monster hooked to the Suburban I wondered what I had gotten myself into. What a man will do for love!!

My wife had a field day in Wal-Mart yesterday. While she bought most of the living items in the Clipper she didn't remove one single thing. Last night when we took off for the storage place I said: let me stop by Wal-Mart to get an adapter so I can plug in at the storage. Her response was: can't you get the one off the Clipper for now and we'll get one later!

Yet she bought all new stuff for the travel trailer. Again, what the hell have I gotten myself into. She happy and can be and so am I. We were at the storage place until 10:30 last night loading it up and enjoying the newness. Did I tell you my storage bill doubled. Again, what the hell have I gotten myself into.

Glad you are getting close to delivery on your trailer.
