Are the interior light fixtures supposed to work if your plugged in to
your batteries?     My water pump works, and the guage panel - but not the
lights.

I plugged it in to 'shore' external power and the relay clicks and my lights
work.

I'm confused.    I think maybe my charger is messed up.    I put a meter
onto it w/o the battery attached and It has 12v and also had 22 V AC across
the battery cables.

Also my 3 way fridge doesn't work.    ( don't know it it even works at all )

No owners manual

Thanks.

Yes, your lights should work without shore power, as long as the coach battery is charged. If you get 22 volts across the battery leads without the battery connected but connected to shore power, that may be a normal indication. I believe that if you check that voltage with the battery connected, it will be on the order of 13 to 14 volts, indicating that the battery is being charged. If the lights don't work on battery, it suggests a dead bttery or maybe an open fuse on the breaker panel down by the floor.
The output of the power converter that feeds the coach lights and pump, etc. and the battery charging output are two separate outputs. The first is a regulated supply of about 13 volts while the other is a variable-rate output designed to only supply the charging needs of the battery.

The coach lights started working on battery.
But one neon fixture ran it down in about 45 min.
I forgot the one in the bathroom was on.

I left the battery connected while I worked on stuff tonight and it
got kind of warm.    Is this normal?

Thanks.

It just seems strange to have that 22V AC there across the battery terminal and the 12V DC.

This RV had three batteries in the compartment - like the guy swapped
them around.    Two of them would still take a charge with a 6 amp
slow charger.....     Could I hook them up in parallel with the stock
Clipper charger?

Thanks....

Yes, you can parallel  batteries  for longer life but make sure they are all equally charged before connecting them in parallel, and make sure they are all in good shape. One sulfated battery in the group will drag the others down. Where are all these batteries located in your rig, in the generator compartment?

yes they were all in the compartment
