leak behind toilet

i have a cleanwater leak in the pipe behind my toilet, under the floorboard and it's making a mess. to remove toilet, do i lift out the whole wooden board it's attached to or must i disconnect the toilet somehow? please help!

Mike,

If your toilet is like mine (Aqua Magic), there is a 1/2 inch bolt under the foot petal. The other bolt is in the back. To reach the one in the back you will need a 12 inch extension and a universal adapter.

Remove the white cap underneath the seat and used the ratchet and socket to reach the bolt.

I tried and tried and couldn't figure it out.  Then I found some instructions on the web @ about 2 am. Don't know if this is it but her you go.

Rays right the toilet has to come up then the flange then the floor all has to be removed to get to the lines good time to check and replace all the clamps on the lines under the floor :D
