This website's purpose is to share information with clipper owners and others who are interested in clippers or have old Dodge B300 chassis motorhomes.  In an attempt to share as much information as possible to as many people as possible PLEASE first post your questions in one of the forum boards rather than sending a PM to the webmaster or another member. This will allow other members to find information that may help solve their problem.  By PMing your questions, you decrease forum activity and create more work for active members who end up repeating information to individuals looking for the same information.  Thank you.

Was on I-5 north of S.F. this weekend and saw 3 clippers heading south and passed one heading north.  Most I have ever seen, had there been a get together in the area?

On another topic there is a 78 (I think) Clipper (needs a lot of love) for sale on a used car lot on highway 126 in Springfield Oregon. Side kitchen and rear bath (bathtub.. that was nice), couch, did not appear to have the cushion for the overhead bed.

Our Clipper is at the mechs.  Getting the engine rebuilt and fittings, hoses and belts replaced.  Ready for it to be home!

I am heading down that way tomorrow.  Where is highway 126 in relation to I-5?  If it isn't too far afield I might be able to convice my passengers to take a side trip.  Which Lot?

Map quest says( I searched for directions to the 800 block of South A street in Springfield OR, a general guess, block wise for the car lot location I know it was on the 126 eastbound loop)

Take the OR-126 E exit, exit number 194A, towards SPRINGFIELD. 0.2 miles
18. Merge onto I-105 E. 0.1 miles
19. Stay straight to go onto OR-126 E. 0.9 miles
20. Take the exit towards SPRINGFIELD CITY CENTER. 0.3 miles
21. Turn RIGHT onto PIONEER PKWY W. 1.0 miles
22. PIONEER PKWY W becomes S 2ND ST. 0.0 miles
23. Turn LEFT onto S A ST/OR-126

or you can take exit 191, go north 1 mile on glenwood blvd and then east on 126 loop (south A street).

I honestly don't recall the name of the car lot.  It didn't look that professional of a set up.  But the Clipper was on the east bound section of the 126 loop.  So it would be a couple of miles max once you were east bound on South A street. To get back to I-5 you would just reverse your path.  You can't get on I-5 directly from 126 loop.

Good luck!
