General Questions??

I'm looking at buying a 77 821FIT w/ 440 Eng.  The seller says this coach tops out at 60 MPH without screaming down the road.  Has anyone tried changing the rearend gears to get better top end and mileage??

Does the lower couches - L shaped & long side couch make a comfortable bed for the wife & I?  I'm afraid the kids have dibs on the upper bed.

Sean.I would take a real close look at the rig. Topping put at 60 mph sounds fishy.60 is a good speed to travel at.However I know these clippers go a lot faster than that. Your mpg drops a lot the faster you go.And it is not good for the whole rig to drive really fast.They heat up,dishes change shelves in the cupboards[not really.]But take a good look or have a mech.look at it for you.Larry.
