As a new member of two yrs my experience is very limited . due to replacing my old frig in my 78 clipper next week what leveling jacks should i buy to keep it from burn out. please any suggestions

Do you have the air lifts that most Clippers came with?  If so, you can usually level the vehicle by just using those.  A portable (cheap) 12 volt air pump will work just fine.  Many owners use the "leggo blocks" that you drive upon to lift and level the home.  My experience with the 3-way refrigerator is that it is pretty forgiving and not too sensitive to being perfectly level if I am careful to get close to being balanced.

thanks for the help. we do alot if one nite stands leveling with the air units may not be to pracital for us. Is there any clipper owners that are using other forms of leveling , please respond if you have the solution . spence h,b.p.

I use 3 2x6's stacked on top of each other and screwed together. The bottom board is the same length as my storage space under the seat of the dinette table for storage. The next board is approx 1 foot shorter and the last approx 1 foot shorter. All are cut at a 45 degree angle on one side. I have made 2 of these and also carry a couple of the leggo blocks. I also have a circular level that is on top of the dog house. This seems to work fine and does not take too much time to level.

I'm a big fan of the "lego blocks". They are light, strong, easily arranged in multiple configurations, store neatly, and relatively cheap at Camping World, or you other RV parts outlet. I carry one or  two sets (10 blocks/set) with me (depending on where I'm going) and can get level quite quickly.
