I have my 77 clipper, i have only had it out a handfull of times, there is a  intermittent shake in the steering wheel only once and a while, it feels like a tire out of ballance, if you touch the brake pedal it really shakes. you dont have to hold foot on brake just touch the pedal even when you let off it still shakes a bunch until you slow way down. The only thing i see is a  idler arm is a little loose which i will replace. just wondering if anyone has had any similar issues.  Thanks  Don

Hi Don,You might have hit the nail on the head!!!!

I had a similar problem and did replace the idler arm...

but still had an issue with shaking...I replaced the wheel

bearings and no more shaking...Just replaced the idler rm first

then go to the wheel bearings.  While your at it check the rubber break line

Mine was the origional and had a lot of cracks in them...

Ok, have a great day!!   John

Hey Buddy, yea we do love these things..."Why"  ?????????

Gives us something to do other than chase women!!!!

I mean really, wouldn't you rather track down a short  than figure out what makes Em" tick.

After 28 yrs I just gave up she just keeps going and going and going.....

Kinda like the eveready Bunny""".... If I had that energy I would have finished

the rig long ago. :)  But now I can't get rid of eather!!!!
