Spark Plug wire sets

Good AM to all

What I need is more info on the Spark Plug wire sets for the 440 AC?
Driver's side is over the V cover and the Pass. side is in back of the Head, what set or do I need to make it up? 
I sure need to replace the wires they all are still working but are way to close

Howdeee  Doo Neighbor  Chuck,

Fiddle dee dee thoses plug wires get ery close to the exhaust manifolds don't they...

I myself bought a heat sleave for hot rods at my neighbor hood Auto parts store.

they go over the plug wires  then I used some  Zip ties and pulled the wires away from the

hot areas the best that I could.  By the by I used the 8 mm super stock wires.

They seem to hold up the best.  I have the 440 and there is no room between the dog house

and the exhaust manifold to speak of.  If the weather keeps up like this I might be able to

get my daughter to help me install the new motor. Just remember that the heat is the "Biggest issue on this " rig....
I have boiled over just sitting in traffic. That is why I am instaling electric fans.

We hope to start to the septic. tank and system before  the end of this Month. then we will do the Elect. next  hope to be there by some time in June HOPE!!!!
When will you be starting your work?

Well the AC (Clyde) has a new water pump,Stat., Val. gaskets, Plug Wires, a 2 belt PS pulley, Jerry T air duct cooling to the dog house. I hope this will help us as it has others.

Well, I am hoping to get up there this March.

I have to find someone to dig the well"..

and I need to get a electric pole put in.

But first of number one thing is find someone to dig out a driveway...

The Rig is all back together and is doing fine. It started up good and the belts all track good,the new water pump moves a lot of water,the fan clutch moves a lot of air. so all seams to be just fine. the wife is painting the inside and it is looking good, much lighter and brighter and we like that. I soon will start on the hitch and some kind of storage for the back then it will be ready to go for us.
I have not put Jerry T bumper air duct mod on I can not see any room for the duct on the pass. side no room
at all on mine. other than that I think that I we are OK.

What type of problems are you having on your rig?   March is almost here and you said that you would taking a trip to Oregon to start work on your Prop. is that still on?

I used 3" alum dryer vent as 4" would not fit. I have a 78 440 so I would think they both would be the same. Here are my pics. You can see I took a roundabout route to get there. I used semi truck muffler clamps to hold the downspout adapters/vent to the bottom of my bumper.

I just used the bumper mounting bolts to hold mine in place, which required a bit of creative positioning left to right side. Look at Jerry's first photo, that bolt, eyeball the downspout adapter to look square on both sides and drill a hole in them accordingly.

Maybe not the most professional job, but I don't intend to bump anything with my bumper either

As far a routing goes, I ran mine out through the wheel wells. This does not work well as in extreme turns the tires rub the vent tubing, but then again the sound tells me that I am turning too sharply for this vintage vehicle......I have had to patch the vent tubes........one day I will find a better route.

Hi Chuck, I am going to call my attorney tomorrow and find out what if anything is happening with my case....

Then I can make preps for the trip or not... As it is my case has gone on for three years
now and I would just like it to end .  But then again I don't want to rush it.

Sounds as if you have the rig in good shape.
Mine.....It started to rain again and I really don't like to play in the rain..
I am having a friend of mine rebuild the carb...tha is why it wont start.  Sat so long in a box and I guess the gas turned to varnish" i never cleaned it out before putting it away"

I am going to try the dryer duct thing when I can.
I will let ya know what is going on with my trip  tomorrow night.
