I have a 1979 Clipper and need to replace the thermocouple on the furnace.  Are there any tricks to removing the furnace?  I disconnected the gas line, removed the screws etc but it does not want to come out.  Is there something holding the exhaust side.  Shouldn't it just slide out?  It seems to be a very tight fit from top to bottom

thanks in advance

hey xlt4, I am sure glad you asked that question!!!
I am in the middle of redoing the interior of my 77 and that is the next thing I was looking at.
Plus I am looking at a bigger fridge and repair the damage to the upper frame around the Emerg hatch.
ZI hope I am up for it.  Enjoy the ride.... John
