License Plate Lights&Turn signals

We have a 1978 W/rear kitchen. The problem is our license lights blink with the right turn signals.I've cleaned connections,sockets etc.Any help would be appreciated.

Larry at some point someone miss wired the plate light   with the brake light youll have to take off the taillight and find the lience plate  wire and connect it to the  running lights it allmost has to be at the tail light assy

Jim.Thank you for the quick reply.Somebody in the past wired the license lights' ground wire to the right side brake and turn hot lead.Once you get the left T/light assy.loose, you can see all the wiring.I'm back on the road again.Thank you.
