I tinkered with the Onan today to find why it would not start and keep running. I ran a direct fuel line into a gas can with some treatment added.  I had checked the  fuel pump  and  knew it worked ok , but the engine would surge in rpm and after some time  die. I set the neddle valve  and still had a surge in rpm. I then took the valve out and noticed a small O ring  on the top of neddle  that did not look like it was healthy. It fell off in small pieces , dry as a bone. The tiny O ring from the hardware was 29 cents,  install the neddle valve  with new ring ,set it at 1 1\2 push the start button , bingo starts and runs as smooothe as can be.   Now I need to know why my roof air does not run off the power from the Onan that now runs like a top? Whats next, is there an answer for me out there?

Not real sure how yours has been wired, but check the breaker for plugs and such, then just be sure that the shore power cord is plugged into the onan output plug in the same place the cord is stored. Tha's the way mine is configured. 78 rear kit. 21'.
