My Clipper has a lot of little black spots - looks like mold or fungus or something.

It's on the roof, and a little on the side.

Anyone else get this and what did you use to wash/scrub it off and prevent it from coming back?

Thanks

try a little bleach and water 10% should do it, it kills mold and alge and moss should work on this

Horst- Those little black specks are specks of dirt or soot  and algie combined in what might be called the pours of the fibre glass..This is a good example showing fibre glass is not a solid moisture proof surface, as many people believe. There are a number of fibre glass cleaners that will remove them.Gel Gloss will also do the job nicely if you use it generously on a terry cloth  towel or like material.Rub it in well. let it drys slightly and wipe it off. You will plainly notice the black residue in your wiping rag. Then I would recommend you apply another coat of the Gel Gloss,{OR a Good car wax],let dry to a haze and polish.I do this once each spring to the top of our clipper the back and sides get polished more often as needed to stay shiny.Incidently I agree with other Clipper owners that feel this care helps prevent lines or checks,[crazing],in the glass.Bob Chaney #2626

HORST,
Make life easy for yourself.Get a bottle of soft scrub. Same as you use on your kitchen sink.
Hose down the Clipper and start scrubing with a sponge. It will get rid of oxidation and anything else that likes to grow on it.
NEXT- Get a bottle of Gel-Gloss RV Cleaner Wax (very easy to use)You can get this at Camping World.
If you want to go one step further, try Meguiar's Gold Class liquid wax. It has a polymer base and will never yellow. The more you use the more it shines.
Three steps is a bit of work but the results are great. Just ask Mark and Shayne!

Rich must be right.  It certainly makes his clipper look polished all the time.
