THE BRACKET IS MISSNG-HE SAID THE EXISTING BELTS ARE DOING DOUBLE DUTY THATS WHY THE NEW BELT BROKE-ALSO SAID IF I HEAR THE BELT SLIP TO GET IT TIGHTENED-NEW BELTS STRETCH. THIS SHOP IN COALINGA OF HWY 5 WAS WELL EQUIPED AND THEY CHECKED MY WHOLE RIG-FOUND A GAS LINE TUBING READY TO GO-REPLACED IT AND CHECKED MY WHOLE RIG  MR.TRIPP IS THE OWNER AND HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. 2ND PROBLEM WAS FLAT IN LEFT REAR INNER DUALLY -THE FLAPPING RUBBER RIPPED THROUGH MY ELECTICAL COMPARTMENT TORE OUT MY ELECTRICAL CORD AND MY WATER PUMP-BEHIND THE TIRE IT TORE OUT MY REFUSE  TUBE,TUBE HOLDER AND GAS TANK FILL TUBE. A blow-out with new tires?
Either you were:
1) unlucky and actually hit something that caused the blowout
2) had your tires underinflated
3) had your tires overinlfated

Underinflated tires are common, and in a dually situation can lead to blowouts as the tires "rub" together while underway.
This is magnified if you're driving too fast with underinflated tires.

Be sure to check you tire inflation, and try to figure out what caused the blowout. Your tire dealer might replace them for you.

We had a left rear inner blow out some years back.  We smelled the rubber burning.  Stopped once to check around the rig.  Checked the tires for decent air pressure, bounced a hammer, but didn't really get down to a closer inspection.  I had three different brands on the rig at the time, same ones as when I bought the Clipper.  The tire delaminated.  Fortunately I was close to a rest stop.  Got the tire off and limped in to the nearest town 15 miles down the road.  Needless to say, six new tires were installed.  I check the pressure before every trip.  So far so good.  I have the 16.5 X 8 tires.
