PS double pulley

I know an 83 Ford 460 E-250 (van) doulble PS pulley will work to stop belt squeel, but are there other years and trucks that that same pulley was used on. I have located an  84 Ford 460 truck (pick up) with a double pulley and hopefull it will work before I lay down some money for it. I know an 88 Ford 460 E-250 pulley will not work as I have tried it. Also I noticed that the 88 pulley uses a wider belt, how about belt size on a 1983. I thought I heard the year range that will work is 83 to 86. Is this true and was it on all 460 truck applications? It is no longer possible to get this pulley from Ford and junkyards are running out the older Ford 460's. Soon it will be impossable to find these pulleys unless some one has one specially  made.
