I thought I saw a post giving part number and location where I might purchase a replacement windshield wiper moter, but cannot seem to locate it again.  I have a 1977 Dodge 440 Rear Kitchen Party Model and my windshield wiper moter is frozen.  Can anyone help me out with locating a replacement motor?  I have a mechanic who will install same for me, just need the part.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jim,  Ya know I never needed the wipers!!!!  I put rain X on the windshield

and the water just disapeers.  I did replace the wiper motor Which I got from Tops auto supply  here in Anaheim..  They seem to always have on hand what ever I need for the old girl.

Well, the news says it going to rain tonight????

Have you made any head way with the termites???

Take care, John

I found a 100% guaraneteeeeeed method of killing them termites.  Two blocks of wood, put termite on block A, smack block A with Block B and rememer to wipe off termite residue.  Okay?

Some guy in Colorado made a fortune years back advertising in a self help magazine this 100% Guaranteed Bug Killer for only $9.99 plus shipping.  Block A and Block B and instructions to place bug on block B and smack real hard with block A.  People complained, post master general got involved and no one could do anything about it.  It was not false advertising and if directions were followed, it worked 100% of the time.  hahahahahahahahhahahahah

Okay, now that my windshield wiper motor is on it's way, I went camping up at San Onofre Beach onboard Camp Pendleton Marine Base this last weekend.  It rained.  When I started up the engine to come back, I had somehow left the wiper switch on....  wipers started wiping.  sigh....   I will probably have to grease up the joints in the arms, they sometimes stick, but the wipers are working.  When they stick, I smack one arm with my hand and it unsticks... sigh...  (great mechanical cure, right?  Just use a bigger hammer!)

Hummmmmm maybe that would work on the Dometic Reefer..????

grrgghhh!!
I didn't follow rule number 1 - which as you know is - "Never assume"

I took off on my Clipper outing and didn't do a comprehensive systems check before heading out (getting old, stupid and lazy!)
About 50 miles out it's starts  to rain - and rain good - I turn on my wipers - nothing - nada! - zip! As I climb the Big Sur hills on the coast, I get fog, clouds and rain with no wipers.......it wasn't fun.

Think my my wiper motor is toast - there's juice to the motor - tried to "gently" unfreeze it - no go.
Looking back - I haven't had the wipers on in probably over 2 or 3 years - DUH!!!! - dumb.......

So I have toi replace that ...........and I need tires..........and a gas tank...........and new coil springs, and probably ball joints.....and new rear shocks..........probably a new radiator and water pump and fan clutch while I'm at it.......my engine is on the second half of its life........................I have a difficult decision coming up next year

Jim
You must have bought their last  wiper motor - I've been on the site - and they no longer have them?
Only the washer pump and bushings?
looks like I need to shop somewhere else

Hey Horst,  I sure would be glad to help you out, but took the wiper motor to my mechanic... he tested the old motor and it has an intermittant problem in it and is slowly dieing...  so went ahead and installed the new motor.  If the old one had tested out okay, I would have had no problem fixing ya up!
