PLEASE HELP MY CLIPPER HAS BEEN TOWED BECAUSE THEY THINK ITS STOLEN BECAUSE THEY CANT  MATCH THE DODGE CHASSIS VIN NUMBER TO MY PAPERWORK PLEASE HELP I DON't KNOW WHAT TO DO???

Where did the VIN number you have come from?  Did you register the Clipper in California?

WELL WHEN I GOT MY CLIPPER I REGISTERED IN CALIFORNIA AND THE PINKSLIP HAD VIN # S1769 AND THE LICENSE PLATE BUT THERES A VIN # ON THE DRIVERS SIDE DASHBOARD LIKE ON REGULAR VEHICLES AND ITS A NORMAL NUMBER LIKE 17 DIGITS BUT ITS NEVER MENTIONED ON MY PINKSLIP SO THERE THINKING IT'S STOLEN HOPEFULLY I CAN CLEAR THIS MESS :(

Well first I see ur from Norwalk my mom had a house on pine street and I found out they do things different there then here in Stockton, Ca.

but for ur ? Does your Title have the same 5 digit  VIN # on it.  if not maybe you can can fill out a correction form at DMV with the correct Vin #.  Where did the 5 digit # come from the front door, on the dash or by the back door on the American Clipper plackard?  and did the police put the actual vin # on the police report.
