Pics of my bathroom refinements

I bought our 78 RK (Fillmore) because I thought he was the best floorplan for us. I think it's the best use of 20' I've seen. We were lucky, Fillmore was 99% stock when we bought him, so I didn't have alot of old "improvements" to deal with.My concern was I thought the bathroom was "tight"(old meaning) but I did find a few ways to make it eaiser to use and add some room too. The first thing I got rid of was the half high vent pipe cover/box thing that encroached the Thetford china toilet I was installing. Behind the box was two pipes, the vent and the k-sink drain. A quick call to my plumber buddy confirmed that two pipes was unnessary and one could drain the sink and vent the tank fine, he said it was even code here in Michigan, he thought the two pipe's may have been a Cali thing or over-engineering at best. I cut the rear one off and capped it under the raised bath floor. This allowed me to tweak the k-sink trap for more drawer space over there but more on that latter. A new stick of drain pipe a few fittings and a can of flat brown spray paint was all I needed to redo the vent/drain and now I had more space in my bath and some extra Clipper material (the box) for future improvements. I now had room for a good size drawer over the toilet, (see eailer post) A sad fact is there is no usable counter space in the bath so I put in a fold down shelf under the window and above the toilet. It connects the Clipper counter to the kitchen wall, you can still use the toilet when it's down and it folds up for travel. My wife Roxann likes a trash basket in the bath so I came up with one that uses the plastic shopping bags and fits into the back wall angle. I use the toilet brush holder to keep it in place, as it just sets in the corner. The other corner is used for a ditty bag and the three roll TP holder sets tight to the sink cabinet on a shortened, inverted plastic butter tub, screwed to the floor with one screw. This keeps it in place under way, above that is the TP roll facing rearward and a kleenex box held up by some wide elastic to the bottom of the narrow Clipper counter. NOTE THERE IS A 4 PICTURE LIMIT PER POST SO SEE NEXT POST FOR MORE PICS. I also used a new high arc swivel spout faucet. The swivel spout allows me to fill a bucket if I want. I did have to use short handles. Under the sink I neatened up the plumbing(cut and move) to conserve space and added a shelf from a sink tip out to the inside of the door.
