new clipper

I just became the new proud owner. New to rv'ing as well as the clipper. So, I need some help. There is water damage in the bathroom walls. I started to remove the wall panels and the framing is rotted as well. Any advice, pictures,ANYTHING will help me. How does the fiberglass attach to the framing? Should I be careful of anything in particular before I really tear into this thing? I guess I'll start here without overloading questions. Thanks in advance.

well without actually seeing the extent of the damage i would just have to guess, I would try to "sister" up new framing to the good parts of the exsisting framing. I am not sure how the fiberglass was or if it is attatched to the frame other than at the seams...however i think this would be a good opportunity to use liquid nails...because of the fiberglass construction i suspect that the frame might of been to support the interior walls . again its hard to tell with out seeing...however if you are handy with wood...go for it...drywall screws, liquid nails,...and dont forget to have fun....if you are like most of us...with the price of gas, repairs etc, you will be spending more time in it in the driveway than on the road :-) :-)

Thanks for the response. I will try to take some pics this weekend and post for all to see and hopefully advise. I'm pretty handy so I'm going to tackle it. I was hoping I would have a sea of advice, but there is low activity here. Oh well, I appreciate your help. Like I said pics comming soon.

Yeh its slow here right now...a while back it was pretty active...I dont see any of the old regular members on here lately. I dont know if people are losing intrest in the clippers because of the price of gas. I have had mine for almost 2 years know and its still hasnt made it on the road yet. I have rebuilt the transmission and done cosmetic repairs and plumbing. right now it needs tires....$600. so its sitting...i do have a toyota RV...havent used  it yet either...but its road ready.
enjoy your project...keep us posted

new clipper, what have you discovered on the shower removal? I am curious how they were installed. I re-plumbed my water and re-routed the wall vent behind the outside wall so I could add a soap holder. It looks to me like they set the shower, then built the closet and kitchen wall around it? Let us know, it sounds like major surgery:(
