Hi there guys, this is a question for one of you that has the right answer...

What amperage should I have for an altinator....

77 dodge, 440, I have been told that a regular car altinator is the right one????

But then I have been told that I should get an altinator that delivers around 60 amps>?

Then I was told that I could have too much amperage!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the heck do I do!!!!!!!
