I am trying to locate a new four core radiator for my 78 440 and have been unsuccessful so far.   I just put in a new Mr. Gasket thermostat and would like to upgrade the radiator as well. I tried the Kragen here in my area of Concord, Ca. and also a few local parts houses.  No one seems to have it.  I have also been looking on the enternet tonight with no luck. I know they are out there because some of you have already installed them.  Could someone provide me with a manufacturer and part number and perhaps a source.  Also, I wanted to thank the gentleman I think it was Shayne Barr, who recomended buying the distributor wrench set at Kragen to install the thermostat. It was so much easier this time.

Dear Tom:
I work for CARQUEST AUTO PARTS.  I know the frustration you are having trying to find the proper radiator.  I too tried to find a new replacement which is just like the one I have. I too have a 78 with a 440.  I found that most radiator repair specialists can recore them but for a high price tag.  Be prepared to pay near    $300.00.  I also had located a Radi-Acc brand and it was back east and it too was near $300 my cost.  Good luck!
