P.S generator

I have another question about my generator.  Can I mount a marine type gas tank inside my gererator compartment so it has it's own fuel supply?  My concern is ventilation, don't want gas fumes building up and igniting when the generator sparks to start. thanks

No no never ever even think about such a thing unless your into self sacrafices the only time you can use a Gen with a gas tank and thats if it's mounted on the bumper or somewhere else that makes it portabule but never in a closed comparment

Thanks that was my fealing. My uncle thought it should be ok.  Just didn't seam right to me.
