Title: Roof Air question
Post by: terry and karen conkle on April 18, 2005, 06:16:47 PM
Should my roof air run off of the generator?  It runs well off of electricity, but now that I have my Onan running well, I find that the roof AC doesn't work with the generator.  Help please!

the same access door your shore power cord is stored is a matching electrical socket. the shore power cord must be plugged in to it to complete the circuit to the generator. maybe something you overlooked if you did not it was there.

Thanks a lot, Tom!  You were absolutely right.  The shore power needed to be plugged in.  I had no idea that it needed to be done to complete the circuit.
Thanks again.

P.S.  Do you think cross-posting replies are acceptable?

I did that the first few times myself when using my onan
I did discover that when running power from the generator if I had the A/C
on and tried to use the microwave that nothing would heat in the oven. It ran and acted like it was doing something but was just making a lot of noise for nothing. Turned the A/C off and oven works fine.
