Title: plumbing system
Post by: mikeyo on August 27, 2004, 11:09:40 AM
yes, it's me again- the newest clipper owner! i have a pinhole leak in a plastic hose behind the toilet, under the floorboard, which i'm hoping will explain the water leaking all along the back of my clipper. the leak is worst when the water pump is on, but leaks neverthe less when not running the pump. when the pump is on, water drips from every foot of the rear width, but when parked, it only drips from the back- right side. maybe this is water from the leak behind the toilet which runs along the pipe towards the side of the road as the clipper leans slightly when parked on the street? or maybe i have other leaks?! i have to fix it tomorrow. can anyone tell me what to expect? anyone have a diagram of the plumbing system? what type of pipes are used etc. i'm just going to have to go at it pronto! thanks again.

Hi mike there are several places it can leak and all come out hte rear under the bathroom floor theres tee fittings that go to the sink the toilet and then to the kithen sink any or all could be the prblem easest pull your drawers out and look at the water lines they come from the bathalong the back wall then up run your pump and look for leaks if none there then youv got some work on your hands, pull up the toilet then the floor. if you find the leak under there don't just tighten the clamps replace them five bucks for new clamps beats pulling up the floor again good luck let us know what you find :D
