Title: To Smell or not to Smell........
Post by: bigray on August 16, 2004, 09:19:40 AM
A few weeks back I posted a message to say that I resealed some leaks that I had on my roof. I resealed everything and wala. No more leaks.

Well, the good part is that I killed two bird with one stone. I had a musty smell in my Clipper that I thought was due to the age of the vehicle. I remember a post a month or so ago about how to remove the smell. Somebody mentioned a ozone machine and other remedies.

At any rate, it turns out that the smell was because of water leaks from the roof. If you have a strong musty smell that may be a tale tale sign of leaks. Might want to double check.

After I stop the leaks I open my window and let my Clipper air out and she smells good.
