Title: Kitchen faucet
Post by: Den on February 02, 2004, 09:30:00 PM
I'm in need of a kitchen faucet for a 78 rear kitchen model. Single lever. I've looked, however is there one that someone recommends for my old boy ?

Check my post in the tech forum on 8/11/03.  This is a great faucet and will last you a lifetime.  I found mine on the internet but I forget who I ordered it from.  They were in California however.  (//images/smiles/icon_cool.gif)

Can you repost it here ? I need to wait until I get the next password, misplaced it.

Thanks Dennis

Sorry for the delay.  The faucet is made by MOEN and is model 7423.  This is a single handle model with a long spout and is very similar to the original in our units.  The difference is that it is guaranteed to never leak or it will be repaired/replaced by the manufacturer. To install, you must cut a hole in the center of the sink and this can be tough.  I cut (worried) the hole with a Dremel tool and cutting disc.   The faucet cost around $60 as I recall from someone in California online but you probably could order it locally as well.    (//images/smiles/icon_cool.gif)
