It has been a amazing experience to read the responce to problems that we have with our clippers. This is my problem my tail lights were old and the rubber gaskets were leaking allowing water to enter . ordered two from parts dept they were installed on my 78 clipper . on the way home checking the gages the needle on the charging was below the center and half way to discharge . my retired rv mechanic suggested alternator problem, so from napa bought anew 60 amp rebilt and had it installed . the needle remained in same position . is there any way when the lights were installed in the wiring that could cause the problem? bob spence hbp
