Has anyone put a sunroof in where the A/C unit is? We seldom have the need for "shore power" and when we bought our rv the previous owner said it doesn't work (even if it did we wouldn't use it in our adventures) It does not leak, the cover on the outside is broken a bit, we have had snow on the roof recently and it has melted and no leaks anywhere in the unit, hate to mess with something that isn't leaking if you know what I mean , but the added light would be awesome.
If it dosent leak I say dont fix whats not broken. A sun roof would be a nice touch tho. Lets in more natural light. Here in Nebraska we couldn't live with air conditioning. 100+ temps and 50%+ humidity. With young children and new born there's no way we could go without most times.
