Go to napa and get an electric one $50.
I also have a Generac with a faulty fuel pump.
In my case, the generator was never a big deal so did not fix it.
The mechanical ones are most likely a waste looking for (if you could find one in the first place) but the electric can work.
I believe that you can't directly use a stardard electric fuel pump meant for cars since it operares at a different pressure. That means you can buy one at an RV place (meant for a generator) and costing lots or buy a regular one at an auto supply place and add a regulator to it. A little homework needs to be done here.
I will be at a Bay Area Clipper outing this weekend at Delta Bay, near Isleton, CA. and will ask around.

How do de doooo, I asked my guys at TOPs auto supply and yes you can run an electric fuel pump and Yes, You will need to add a fuel presure regulator.. Just dial it down
and your fine.....

MAKE SHURE THE OIL
TANK IS FULL. THE FUEL PUMP WON'T WORK ON THE OLD GENERAC IF THE OIL TANK IS LOW.
