Does anyone know if a transfer case from a small block 727 tranny will work with a big block 727?
A feller wants me to get rid of a running but gutted RV with a 440 in it (based on dodge van) and I want to replace the blown 318 in my 85 royal ram half ton with the 440. but I want to keep the 4x4. I will then salvage all the usable van/rv parts.
Then I will cut off the front end of the rv, and turn the rear end into a mobile workshop/trailer.
He also said it has a generator in it that is not running.
He assured me that I could drive it the 20 miles to my place, all the running gear is intact. He gutted it when he got it, thinking to rebuild the inside. the previous owners were hauling trash in it, ruining the interior.
Now he just wants it off his lawn, FREE!
