yeah its been real quiet here lately, probably due to needed spring fixes around the home and clipper.
Sorry bout your engine/starter problem. hope its simple.
I had to go to the er and then a specialist for a foreign body in my eye, which turned out to be metal. got my eye drilled in time to go back to work early for a 3 week hitch.....lovely.
Clipper still needs a radiator..... :-\

Hi Dan, I wished you were closer, I found a place that sells NEW not rebuilt

Radiators for 187 plus tax.

Yea, I was gon gto put that starter in--but it was too cold and I have problems getting back

up after I get down on the ground...  Maybe tomorrow.

I hope you start wearing "Safety glasses"  from now on,,,,,

You take care!!!!

I got teenagers, a business (which is really 2), and a wife - busy, busy, busythis economy makes things difficult.
I check this site as much as I can - but I'm strecthed financially and with time............just the way it is.........no Clipper trips on the horizon.......but at least I did  wash and wax it for Spring cleaning last weekend

now need to save a few more pennies and get some front springs, front shocks - and maybe do the ram-air mod.
I'd love to save even a few more bucks and install a Gear-Vendors..................but as the Wicked Witch would say..."all in due time my sweetie, all in due time......"

But the important thing is I'm lucky enough to still enjoy my Clipper daily - gonna go out there tonight with the wife and "read" while the kids can have the house...heh heh...Clipper is fully hooked up - it's my man-cave.
Happy Easter all
H.

"man Cave" Nice Horst, Nice! That's totally how my wife and I think of our clipper when not gearing up for some camping.

And I think that's how Irv designed it..... ;)

too late - you already "caved-in" - you have my sympathies........

For the rest of you - never, never, never let anyone convince you (or convince yourself for that matter!) that your Clipper is a good/safe/dry/convenient/logical, etc. place to "store" stuff - IT IS NOT!!!! It is your Clipper!!! - not a storage unit!

If someone (wife, mom, dad, kids, uncle, niece - I don't care who!) needs some place to store stuff - use something else, or rent a space. Or, go to a warehouse and grab 4 pallets, then go to the hardware store and buy 4 big tarps..........you get the idea..........

My wife suggested using the Clipper as a storage unit/moving van  when we were moving to our present house 9 years ago.................the idea was put to rest in about 2 seconds.

End of rant
