Our '78 Clipper needs a new kitchen faucet. Does anyone know where I can find a suitable replacement for the original? How is it installed? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have tried several times and am at my wits end!

You might check with our Supply Officer, Mel Guerrer. I believe he gave a demonstration for installation at one of the Rallies.
I picked one up at Costco. It has the head on a hose which makes it much more convenient for some things. The only real problem is that you will need to expand the size of the hole in the sinktop. You can do that with a small grinder, or with a knockout punch if you have one or can borrow one. The lunch will do a very clean job.
You will have to remove the sink to do this. The pip fittings are standard issue. The sink is held in with 6 wingnuts from the bottom.
In case you don't know what I'm talking about on the punch, it's two pieces, one on each side of the material. A bolt connects through the material and as you tighten the bold with a wrench, it cuts a big hole. Here's a picture.

We used a Delta # 101WF single handle.It has a hot and cold pipes mounted close together.I enlarged the hole in the sink.A grinder will work fine.I did not have to remove the sink.And I might not have needed to enlarge the hole.I hooked up to the existing lines with the reinforced household sink lines.You can only get water if your electric pump is on,or are hooked up to shore water.I looks and works great.Cost is about $80.00.One of the easy jobs on a Clipper.Larry.
