Title: Nearly Purchased dream ride
Post by: prophetdaniel2 on February 27, 2010, 01:32:20 AM
I nearly Bought my dream driver today!
I have for years been a sucker for Dodge anything, but a 4x4 van with a little lift and appropriate tires and paint job etc... has been a daydream brewing in my noggin for a while now.....then I saw this  :o this morning:

http://anchorage.craigslist.org/cto/1615115516.html

I was flipped out! I called and it was still there! So I went to see it with cash in hand, But it was anything but a dream. Lots of rust and problems all around. :'(

Well....now you know what my non RV dream looks like 8)

nope not me. I think its the fellows son. Them 36's only came to my thigh (im 6'2") But I had to pass this beaut up due to pressing finances. (Believe me, I am desperately trying to come up with a way to buy it still, The price is right and the problems aren't devastating, just not what it appears in the listing. But I don't think the guy is trying to be deceptive...)

Definitely not another like it in The Great Land...

6'2"  I CAN SEE WHY YOU WOULD LIKE THE RIDE.

My son has an awfull time in finding a ride, he is 6' 11"  360 lbs

so a car for him is basicly a truck.  Fact is when he met up with us

in Manteca he couldn't even get in the rig. Have you asked the guy if he would take payments??
Even offer him a hundred more for his trouble.

Take care and good luck!!!!  John
