Clipper sitings

What are the odds that this would happen this way?

In July, we went camping at Winfield Lake, here in Kansas.  As we entered the campground, the very first campsite we saw was occupied by an American Clipper!  Unfortunately, we weren't able to get around to visit with the owners before they left.

Then, earlier this month, we took a trip to Kanopolis Lake, also here in Kansas.  Once again, the very first campsite we came upon was occupied by none other than an American Clipper!  This time we were able to visit with the owner and learned that he knew nothing about the Clipper history, the club, or this website.  Of course, we gave him some information and hope that he will join the club.

We are still amazed that we had two such similar sitings in two consecutive outings!  Will there be a third??  

By the way, we fell in love with Kanopolis Lake and highly recommend it.

Nope, not the same Clipper.  The first one was a Dodge, and the second was a Chevy.

BigRay snuck up to Kansas..... without telling us?   No wonder he didn't wanna put the decals on.... figured he'd be undercover, huh?  Wife'd probably beat him to death with a stick if she knew!!

Ummmm.... Conkles.  The Chevy one.   Was there a cute kid Super Glued to the passenger side front fender, hiding a rusty dent or mud splotch??  Really messy dash???  Try to convince you the messy dash was really just reflections?
