Deception Pass SP, WA

One of our all time favorites sites in America has to be Deception Pass State Park on Whidbey Island, WA!  From north of Seattle on I-5 take SR 20 west and fllow the signs!  The park will be on your right just after the bridge.  If you like ferries, then the best way in is to take the ferry in Mukilteo!

From I-5 take SR525 to the ferry.  On the other side just follow 525 and turn left at SR 20 through to the park (about 47 miles).


Whidbey Island, located in Washington's Puget Sound, is the second longest island in America!


The park is on the north end of the island.


Great views of the pass and the sound!


Deception state park gets almost as many visitors as the Grand Canyon!
