Great stop on the Olympic Pennisula Loop,
Olympic Game park in Sequim.
Nothing like an Original "American" with it's head in the window of your American Clipper!

Or how about a favorite childrens story?

Great trip  :!:

Rodney

Holly Cow :o er' Buffalo,
that's some great pictures milliraye I would want a Clipper wrapped around me when that close to them animals for sure. We stopped on our way to Montana years ago and checked out some of them Critters that were behind a huge fence one of them snorted and gurnted showing his dislike for being there I guess or maybe us being there  Scared the bejeeses out of us :!:
Thanks for the pictures, I would sure like to get up  that way and check it out some time, I am sure it is beautiful.

Hard to drive and LQQK too!
Beautiful drive tho!
Many things to do and see.
And now Thanks to Patient Clipper Owners,
I can start up that generator, and it will actually work!
So I can stop and stay anywhere! OOP's
Maybe I best replace that worn out Master Cylinder first!

Do me a favor???????

                   Just,
***Have a most wonderful day!***

That looks suspiciously like a graham cracker with frosting that the first buffalo is munching!!!  YUMM!  Course I might be thinking that because it is my snack of choice lately. Cool pictures.

milliraye

You are quite right, ran out of the bread they sell
when you start out through the park......
Buffalo's got all my treats (Bears too)!
No frosting though, but great idea.
Ice cream tastes pretty good between them too!  :P
Thank you for the comments on the pix's.
Here are a couple more from that trip.
Pillar Point ****Great Campground****
Beautiful view and friendly hosts!
and the next one is Ruby Rock,
Just a wayside going north toward Neah Bay.
If anyone out there is very adventurous, then
by all means spend a few days at Lake Ozette,
There is a 5 mile boardwalk trail through
the rainforest to the ocean. Amazing experience!
If when you get to the Ocean you turn and hike to the right
you will end up at an ancient Indian burial ground,
and if you turn left instead you will discover
Indian cliff dwellings.
Pillar point on a beautiful day!

Ruby Beach on a typical end of season day!

Rodney

Those are some Beautiful pictues of the Pacific Ocean thanks for posting them. Would you mind if I printed the one of Pilar point and tried to paint it? I would so like to get the coast and do some painting with my oils but this would be the next best thing.
Rodney :D

milliraye

Im at the Ocean daily, I have some awesome shots.
your more than welcome to paint any of them.
Is there a certain size that you require?
I will download some to Photobucket and send you the link.

Would you like to take a brush stroke at this one?

Rodney

Thanks for the link Milliraye You take some very nicely composed pictures and you have a very cooprative subject in nature. That sunset picture is Awesome, Must have been even more so in person. did you know that some of the pictures in this post are not coming up now? you may have moved them in photobucket and not changed the tag here in your post. I have done that before.

IM sure I did move them so I
could get that sub-folder,
(sounded good at the time) lol
Actually, I was trying to put the better shots
               "up front"
I really like that shot of the sunset as well,
Have it framed and hanging in the hall.
I need to search my back-up CD's as I have one you
may really like to paint. The pix is of driftwood that
actually looks like the hand of God, with pen in hand.
It is just such a natural shot,
Yet the impression stays with you. I also enjoy
my driftwood find of the day, I inset petrified wood,
polished stones for the eyes. I also have what I call
my driftwood Elk, my sister says it looks more like
a camel LOL but I went ahead and inserted a rack
on it's head. Too much time on my hands I suppose.
No matter what kind of day it happens to be, rain, snow
or shine, can't seem to take a bad shot of "natural"
Have been working a lot on my poor ol' Billy Bob
Replacing wood, and refinishing the rest.
Also got a great deal on vinyl squares
and am using them to line drawers and cabinets.
I have also decided since I purchased a beautiful
wood look vinyl, that the one section of wood that
I am replacing, will be tiled over.
(Billy is the bunk model W/ rear kitchen)
The wall I am in the process of
replacing is on the right side of the
door which encompasses the heater.
When I got my Clipper it had the original
Orange and brown Shag carpet with
matching curtains and upholstry.
And it smelled 30 yrs old.
Cosmetic is about the best I can do since my
shoulder injury, I am trying to get as much done
as I can before I have surgery.
All that stuff about nature....hmmm guess it's time
to hit the beach again and see how many agates
I can find today.  8)
Do you ride this time of year?
Stay safe and as always,
"In the wind"

I can't see any of your pics except the sunrise one either, Milliraye.  FYI, I set that one as my desktop... thanks, it's magnificent!!!    I'd love to see the rest of your pics too.

Cute mental pic of the buffalo tho.  Got one for ya.  When I first got Fred I stayed at the Lion Country Safari KOA (just W of W Palm Beach) the first week.  Lion Country is a drive-thru African-themed park.  I pulled Fred over to watch the giraffes right by one of their hay feeders and the large bull (I guess that's what you call boy giraffes) pulled a huge wad of hay out.... sauntered over and set it on top of Fred and munched away, which I thought was pretty amusing.  I heard some noises from up there but didn't pay attention.

When I got back to the KOA, I noticed that chunks of my AC shroud had become a giraffe snack!!!!   BTW, it's pretty neat to wake up to the sound of roaring lions....
