Hi all, I have a 1978 American Clipper, we just restored it and are loving it. My next plan was to instal a roof rack (cross bars) mainly to carry surfboards, I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with that, I'm not 100% sure what the best way would be to mount it. My plan was to use raingutter towers and somehow attach raingutter brackets to the roof, I'ld rather not bolt them through but can't find any info on what the frame on the roof looks like and if there is any support beam strong enough to screw the brackets in directly.
Any advice would be appreciated!
