Hello!
So I just bought a 1978 American Clipper  ;D
One of the known issues with it are the windshield wipers dont work. This is the biggest issue so far as I live in the Pacific Northwest and it rains A LOT. Everything else seems to be ok so far but I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to fix this? Thank you !

Check the wiper motor.  That was my problem.  Note, you might have to try 2 or 3 new motors to get one that really works.  Also, check the wiring.  These old rigs have had some weird work done on their wiring over the years.

And while you're in there, replace the bushings.  They're just plastic and wear out easily.

Thanks for replying!
Where exactly is the windshield wiper motor?

It's behind the hood.  You have to remove the metal piece where the wiper blades fit into.  Once that is off, then you'll see the motor, etc.
