Title: Here's what we do
Post by: JerryT on August 29, 2009, 05:18:37 AM
When we get backed into our campsite the first thing I do is open the hood all the way. This seems to let a lot of engine heat out/up and helps keeps it out of the coach. And before I close it I can check the oil and other things that I always forget to do ::)

Ditto at the gas station as well- 10 minutes with the hood up releases a bunch of heat and makes checking the oil less problematic.

Hi there guys, I did much the same as you do, But before I kill the motor I allways have opened the hood and used the hose at the station to cool down the radiator..
I seems as to help.. Maybe I am wasteing my time but that is all we got ,,,right....
