News:

This website's purpose is to share information with clipper owners and others who are interested in clippers or have old Dodge B300 chassis motorhomes.  In an attempt to share as much information as possible to as many people as possible PLEASE first post your questions in one of the forum boards rather than sending a PM to the webmaster or another member. This will allow other members to find information that may help solve their problem.  By PMing your questions, you decrease forum activity and create more work for active members who end up repeating information to individuals looking for the same information.  Thank you.

My boss and I replaced my steering gear box on the clipper the other week.  I had bought the replacement from O'Reilly's, and when we got it installed, we realized that there was a chip on the intake.  I went back to O'Reilly's and they waranteed it out and gave me a replacement.  At that point, my boss realized he would have to take the one out again and put the new one in - and it took a lot of work getting the one in (and a bruised elbow).  So, he decided to just file down the intake instead.

So, I now have a new remanufactured steering gear box for a 1975 360 engine if anyone is interested.  I will bring it to the rally next week.
