Title: ACOC Membership and Parts Ordering
Post by: Jetpuffd on October 23, 2019, 06:41:45 PM
Hello,

Was just inquiring if the ACOC still takes membership dues and if the parts list from the website is still orderable from? I am driving through Modesto all the time and the address on the order form says to send to Modesto. I was just hoping that I could bring my Clipper for a little visit and forgo the ordeal of shipping.

Does anyone know? Thanks

Hi,

The club is still active but barely.  All but one current officer have sold their clippers.  Due to a lack of members willing to take on club officer positions, the club is no longer selling parts.

Hello,
Yes Some Of Us Have Sold Are Price Clippers And Went Into,
Other RV?s.
I Myself Sold My Pride In Joy ?Wilson? Because
My Brother In Law. Gifted Me With A 2002 Monaco
Class A Diesel Pusher 36 Foot Long, Has
Very Low Mileage. Due To The Death Of My Sister-in-law.
(RIP) Last Year.
There Is A Few Repairs Needed On The Outside. Which I Have Found Out.
Class A RV, Parts & Tires Etc. Cost A Lot More, Than I Put Into Clipper.

So Make Your Clipper Safe, An Keep It Maintained. They Still,
Are One Of The Best In Class For Age For A Class C RV 😁😁

Hi RVguy,
Yes It Has A Large Turbo On A Cummins Engine.
Has A Allison Transmission. It Is Diesel, And It Gets About
10 MPG. Little Better Than Clipper. It Has Been Well Maintained By Brother In Law.
Just Had 20,000 Mile Service, Ill Service Transmission Myself, Easy Access, Not Due For 5 K More.

Will Be Driving It To Kansas To See My Boys, After New Years.
May Also Go To Branson, Mo & See A Friend In Springfield, Mo

Joe

Turbo want to check oil lines. as they can be a arm & a leg for a new one. don't want that to happen, just make sure they look good & there no cracking or rot on them. sure easy to find to i went to napa for my.
