Question: Hi Fellow Clipper Members, We're having a problem getting air bags installed on our '76 rear kitchen Clipper. We took it to Camping World but they said they couldn't install the air bags because the propane line was running right along the side of the frame and they couldn't take the responsibility of moving the line. Moving isn't a problem as Ken is a plumber, but where? We've seen 4 other Clippers, all of them without air bags and the gas line in the same place. Please help.

Answer: I had a 1976 Dodge Clipper and Camper World installed the Firestone rear axle air bags on it. I had to reroute the exhaust pipe to exit ahead of the rear wheels. Air bags were not installed on Clippers until late 1976.
