Title: Flap over battery
Post by: JerryT on February 07, 2007, 01:55:29 PM
I noticed that the rain water would run in and puddle on top of my engine battery under the hood. I also noticed that  battery acid would then transfer down and start to weaken (eat) the battery tray and inner fender.  I cut a square of old vinyl flooring and tucked it underneath the cowel vent and let it flow over top of the battery so as to direct the water down and away from the area. It has done the trick, battery stays dry now.
