This website's purpose is to share information with clipper owners and others who are interested in clippers or have old Dodge B300 chassis motorhomes.  In an attempt to share as much information as possible to as many people as possible PLEASE first post your questions in one of the forum boards rather than sending a PM to the webmaster or another member. When we get backed into our campsite the first thing I do is open the hood all the way. This seems to let a lot of engine heat out/up and helps keeps it out of the coach. And before I close it I can check the oil and other things that I always forget to do ::)

Ditto at the gas station as well- 10 minutes with the hood up releases a bunch of heat and makes checking the oil less problematic.

Hi there guys, I did much the same as you do, But before I kill the motor I allways have opened the hood and used the hose at the station to cool down the radiator..
I seems as to help.. Maybe I am wasteing my time but that is all we got ,,,right....
